Creating a Prospect List in Sparkbase

This guide explains how to create and fill prospect lists in Sparkbase to find your ideal customers.

Creating a New List

Finding Prospects

You can build your prospect list in two ways:

Starting with People

When starting with individual prospects, you can filter based on:

  • Job Title
  • Industries
  • Country
  • Employee Range

For example, you could find CEOs of manufacturing companies in the Netherlands with 11-200 employees.

      • Industry
      • Keywords
      • Country/Region

Using AI Agents for Research

Once you've created your list of companies, you can use AI Agents to conduct deeper research into whether they're a good fit for your proposition:

  1. Go to the Company tab in your list
  2. Select "Agentic Research" in the top right corner
  3. Choose from pre-made research agents or create your own custom agent

Creating a Custom Research Agent

When you need specific information about companies to assess fit:

  1. In the Agentic Research menu, go to "Research"
  2. Click "Custom Agent"
  3. Configure your agent:
    • Column Name: Give it a descriptive name (e.g. "ESG Reporting Agent")
    • Research Tool: Choose source (company website, Google search, or news)
    • Research Schedule: Set frequency (once, daily, weekly, monthly)
    • Instructions: Write your research question (e.g. "Does the company website mention ESG reporting?")
    • Output Type: Select format (Text, Number, or Yes/No)

Refining Your List

Based on the research results:

  • Remove companies that don't fit your criteria
  • Make sure to delete associated people when removing companies
  • Add remaining prospects to a campaign from the people tab or import them during campaign creation
