Getting Started with Sparkbase

After you've created a list of prospects it's time to create a campaign to reach out. Next to this, it is important to set up a blocklist and set up your signature.
Setting up a Campaign
- Go to "Campaigns"
- Click on [+ Create Campaign]
- Give your new campaign a name that is in line with the audience and proposition. For example; "ESG Accountants in the Netherlands Campaign 2025"
Now go through the first steps setting up the campaign:
Briefing
Make sure that the briefing is correct with the intention of the campaign. If you looking to highlight a certain service or industry make sure to adjust the briefing accordingly.
Leads
Import leads from a list to the campaign. You can also push leads from a list to your campaign.
Settings
Make sure the settings are correct:
- Basics: Campaign Name / Sender Name / Language
- Sending Window: Start and endtime / Timezone
- Email accounts: Connect an email account to the campaign
Finally:
- Start setting up the "Workflow". More instructions on setting up a workflow can be found here.
- Click "Start Campaign".
How to create a blocklist on Sparkbase
With Sparkbase you are looking to find new customers. To make sure Cara does not contact existing customers or recently contacted prospects, make us of the blocklist feature.
- Click on "Dashboard"
- Go to "Blocklist"
- Click on "Add to blocklist"
- Choose the "type" either phone, linkedin url, domain or email.
- You can either use a single value or upload using a .csv file. (That you can export from your CRM)
How to setup a signature on Sparkbase
In Sparkbase you can set up a signature for the emails you are sending out. This is a quick guide on how to set up a signature.
- Click on "Dashboard"
- Go to "Signature"
- Click on "+ Create Signature"
- Give your signature a name
- Set it up using plain text or using a HTML signature.
Sparkbase Tip: Although a HTML signature might look nicer, we recommend keeping the signature as basic as possible to increase deliverability.
